Today was just a day to kickback and relax and re-energize my body. I headed into town and booked a two-hour time block for Internet access at the library. Ok, I'll admit that I booked one hour and then called in and booked the next hour under someone else's name -- that way I would just use the machine until they showed up for the second hour – seems the people never showed – so I got two hours time in!!!

They had record temperatures here today – 104 degrees!! It feels incredible!! I love the heat – but everyone else is complaining about how hot it is… |
| I did the infamous bicyclist Pizza Hut buffet lunch thing today. After an hour and twenty minutes there, the manager was making sure the waitress wouldn't voluntarily refill my ice tea or water. I guess a touring cyclist isn't a big profit margin customer for them. |

There was quite a cast for characters in the hiker/biker campground last night. Tonight I think it is actually a convention. Probably almost 25+ people at least -- and two more showed up as I headed into my tent here to go to bed. Representatives from the Czech Republic, Britain, Canada, two groups from Wisconsin, the 'East Coast boyz', myself --- and one touring hobo. Interesting stories going around regarding RV'rs, logging truck drivers, food, beer, fishing, and of course great roads where to ride....
It's late and time to get some sleep!
Cheers!
